We are talking this week about the shooting in charleston and the culture around it. In case you missed it on Wednesday night a lone gunman entered the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church and after sitting with the congregates for almost an hour, he opened fire on them with a handgun at close range. He killed 9 people that night. He was quoted as saying I have to do it. You rape our women and you’re taking over our country. And you have to go.” He intentionally left one alive stating “that she was going to live so that she can tell the story of what happened,” The alleged shooter, Dylann Roof was known for being a white supremacist and had flags from apartheid countries on his jacket in his facebook photo.
